The Delegation of the George Pompidou International French Lyceum in Dubai Visited UzSWLU

Today, as part of international cooperation projects, a delegation from the George Pompidou International French Lyceum in Dubai, consisting of 4 teachers and 45 students, visited Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

During the visit, the foreign guests toured the university, accompanied by faculty and students from the French language department, and got acquainted with the educational process, classrooms, the Information Resource Center, and sports facilities. The delegation members highly appreciated the conditions created for students.

Afterward, a meeting with the rector of UzSWLU Ilkhomjon Tuhtasinov and the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Abdurakhim Nasirov was held in the university’s activity hall. Rector Ilkhomjon Tuhtasinov provided detailed information on the large-scale reforms in international cooperation, academic exchange programs, and student internships that have been implemented in recent years.

During the meeting, the lyceum students held an open and friendly conversation with university students, answering their questions of interest.

It is worth noting that the George Pompidou International French Lyceum organizes cultural and educational trips to Uzbekistan for its students every year. At the end of the meeting, agreements were reached on further developing bilateral cooperation, including increasing the number of visits by lyceum students and teachers to the university and organizing short-term internships for university students in Dubai.
