The Second Day of the Uzbekistan–UK Education Forum Continued in London
On May 16 of this year, the second day of the Uzbekistan–UK Education Forum continued at the University of Westminster in London. The event was attended by Ravshan Usmanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the UK, representatives of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, as well as leaders of higher education institutions from both countries.
During the forum, participants exchanged views on reforms in the higher education system, improving education quality, current challenges, and new opportunities. Discussions also focused on strengthening inter-university cooperation, improving higher education governance, supporting inclusive education, and implementing joint scientific and practical projects.
Otabek Yusupov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at the Uzbek State University of World Languages, held negotiations with the University of Sussex and the University of Warwick to launch exchange programs, enhance faculty qualifications, conduct joint research, and organize seminars and training sessions.
In addition, scholarship holders of the El-yurt umidi Foundation currently studying at various UK universities actively participated in the event on behalf of the Uzbek State University of World Languages.
