Tour Guide-Interpreter Training Course Concludes!

As part of the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-269 dated July 18, 2024, the course organized in cooperation with the Tourism Development Research Institute under the Tourism Committee has come to an end.

From December 2024 to May 2025, 80 participants, selected from among talented students in Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Malay, German, and English language tracks, completed a 630-hour program of theoretical, practical, and field training, and successfully defended their graduation projects.

During the summer, within the framework of the “90 Days of Action” project, they actively participated in tour guide interpretation practice, further enhancing their knowledge and skills.

A tour guide-interpreter is not only a language expert but also a true professional who combines knowledge of history, culture, hospitality, communication, and the art of translation. This course was an important milestone in the participants’ professional growth.

At the event, the rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Professor Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov, warmly congratulated the graduates and wished them great success in their future careers.
