2. Explanation

Anti-harassment and anti-discrimination rules outline the unacceptable forms of behavior and make it obvious that they won't be tolerated. A harassment or anti-discrimination policy should outline the kinds of conduct that constitute harassment or discrimination and convey that these issues are taken seriously. Roles and responsibilities should be clearly outlined in the policy as well. These human rights policies should be integrated into the everyday operations of the business and connected to the current organizational policies. The policy should also clearly state its goals, including advancing human rights within the company, combating harassment and discrimination, and outlining the values and expectations of conduct.

These are the goals of the program:

This policy establishes the prohibited behaviors that may be deemed offensive, including harassment and discrimination, within Uzbekistan State World Languages University. It is imperative that all members of the university community, including academic staff, students, and other members, understand that harassment and discrimination are unacceptable practices. Such behaviors are inconsistent with the standards upheld by this university and are against the law.

All academic staff, students, and university members are required to actively participate in any investigation into allegations of harassment or discrimination. Furthermore, academic staff and students must promptly address any complaints or observations of harassment or discrimination.

Managers and supervisors hold the responsibility for establishing and maintaining a workplace free from harassment and discrimination. They should take proactive measures to address any potential issues before they escalate.

It's essential for everyone within Uzbekistan State World Languages University to understand their roles and responsibilities in upholding this policy, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for all.
