Department of English language in primary education

History of the department: The Department of English in Primary Education began its activities on September 6, 2021 on the basis of the 2nd Faculty of English. Currently, there are 17 specialist employees. Among them are 1 candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor, 1 doctor of philosophy (PhD) in pedagogy,  3 senior teachers and 12 staff teachers.

Head of the department: Mukhtarov Muhiddin Mansurovich. He took up this position 2023 September 22.

The main goal of the department is to train competent specialists who meet the requirements of the time and meet world standards, within the framework of ensuring the priority tasks of the law on education and the National Training Program.

The main tasks of the department are:

- conducting lecture, practical and other types of classes at a high theoretical, scientific, methodological and professional level, provided for by the curricula prepared in accordance with the state educational standards of higher education;

- management and organization of independent works, graduation qualification works and master's theses of students;

- objective assessment of students' knowledge based on the criteria of the assessment system;

- creation of conditions for skills and ability to introduce theoretical knowledge of students into practice;

- development of educational programs in the subjects of the department and submission for approval in accordance with the established procedure, as well as discussion and development of educational programs prepared by related departments;

- preparation of textbooks, teaching and visual aids and discussion of published textbooks and teaching aids;

- participation in the release of the necessary educational and methodological literature on the orders of non-governmental educational institutions;

- working with gifted students, preparing them for olympiads, competitions, conducting scientific research and improving forms and methods of independent training;

- creation of conditions for conducting scientific research for teachers of the department;

- discussion of research work and recommendations for subsequent stages;

- ensuring the integration of education and science into production;

- review and approval of individual plans of professors and teachers of the department for academic, scientific and methodological, research work and mentoring;

- study and introduction of skills of experienced professors and teachers, mastering of new pedagogical and information technologies and their application in the educational process.
