A Memorandum of Cooperation Signed Between UzSWLU and Istanbul Aydın University

On June 20, 2025, the delegation of Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) paid an official visit to one of Turkey’s prestigious higher education institutions – Istanbul Aydın University. During the visit, a comprehensive memorandum of cooperation was signed between the two universities.

At the beginning of the meeting, the UzSWLU delegation was warmly welcomed by the leadership of Istanbul Aydın University. The negotiations were held in a friendly and professional atmosphere, during which the parties exchanged views on mutually beneficial directions in education and science.

During the visit, the guests were introduced to the university's infrastructure, academic processes, and the conditions created for students. The delegation toured faculties specializing in foreign languages, translation, modern technologies, culture, and engineering, as well as laboratories equipped with advanced technical tools, an electronic library, and the student campus. The international standards-based education system and practice-oriented approach of Aydın University left a strong impression on the UzSWLU representatives.

Key Areas of Cooperation:

The signed document outlines collaboration between the two universities in the following areas:

• Exchange of students and academic staff;

• Organization of joint scientific projects and conferences;

• Exchange of experience in translation and foreign language teaching;

• Sharing of academic publications and teaching materials;

• Cooperation in the implementation of innovative educational technologies.

The parties also discussed launching future joint bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, as well as organizing internships and practical training opportunities.
