Event held in honor of the Uzbek Language Day

 

On October 21, the Faculty of Oriental Philology of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages hosted a festive event dedicated to the 36th anniversary of granting the Uzbek language the status of the state language and the celebration of Uzbek Language Day.

 

The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Philology, D. Djurayev, who congratulated professors, teachers, and students on the occasion. In his speech, the dean emphasized that the native language is a symbol of national pride, spirituality, and unity.

 

During the program, students performed various stage scenes, humorous “KVN” sketches, as well as poems and ghazals devoted to the Uzbek language. Traditional dances performed by female students added a joyful and festive spirit to the event.
