State Language Day — In Harmony with National Values!

In celebration of October 21 — the day the Uzbek language was granted the status of the state language — the Faculty of International Journalism at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages organized a festive “Pilaf Cooking Contest.”

The event was held under the guidance of Dean A. Matyakubov, Deputy Dean D. Khoshimova, Women’s Affairs Advisor to the Dean D. Fayziyeva, and the faculty tutors.

During the event, students explored national values and the traditions of Uzbek hospitality through the art of preparing traditional dishes, especially osh (pilaf).

The competition not only carried spiritual and educational significance but also strengthened friendship, teamwork, and a creative atmosphere among students.
