Cooperation between Uzbekistan State University of World Languages and Indonesia University of Education

On October 20, 2025, representatives of the Indonesia University of Education (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, UPI) visited the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (UzSWLU).

The meeting was attended by Head of the International Department Kh. Yuldashev, Dean of the Faculty of English Philology No.1 G. Ergasheva, Head of UPI’s International Office Prof. Eri Kurniawan, and Editor-in-Chief of the Indonesian Journal of Applied Linguistics (indexed in Scopus), Nita Noriko.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to cooperate in the following areas:

• exchange of students and faculty members;

• joint scientific research projects;

• professional development programs and seminars;

• improving the quality of education.

The meeting was regarded as an important step toward strengthening the partnership between UzSWLU and UPI and fostering sustainable collaboration in academic, educational, and cultural fields.
