Professional Development of Press Service Staff in Higher Education Institutions (Relevant 90 Days)
From July 3 to 9, 2025, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation organized a professional development course at the Institute for Retraining and Professional Development of Higher Education Personnel, titled: "Modern Trends in Press Service Activities: Digital Technologies, PR Tools, and Artificial Intelligence."
More than 100 press service representatives from higher education institutions across Uzbekistan are participating in the program.
Among the attendees is Otabek Ibragimov, Press Secretary of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages and Advisor to the Rector on Information Policy.
Today marked the beginning of the course’s first session, which was led by Beruniy Alimov — a journalist, blogger, translator, former diplomat, media trainer, PR expert, and Doctor of Philological Sciences (DSc).
Participants gained vital knowledge in areas such as the use of artificial intelligence in PR, the basics of prompt engineering, developing PR strategies through informative, educational, and entertaining content, effective communication with the public and stakeholders during crises, and critical analysis and fact-checking techniques.
At the end of the course, participants will receive official certificates.
