Representatives of the Leibniz German Language Research Institute of Germany visited the State University of World Languages of Uzbekistan.

On April 24, a delegation from the Leibniz German Language Research Institute in Germany visited Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The delegation included Director Prof. Hennig, Prof. Stefan Engelberg from the Lexicon department, Dr. Roman Schneider from the programming department of the Grammar Department, Katrina Duke from the Research Organization Department, and Dr. Nofiza Vokhidova.

They were warmly received by UzSWLU's administration, including Rector I. Tukhtasinov, Vice-Rector A. Nasirov, Head of International Relations H. Yuldashev, Dean of the Translation Faculty U. Yoldashev, Head of Romano-German Translation Studies Department L. Kholiarov, and other officials.

The meeting covered UzSWLU's activities, international cooperation, and German language teaching, as well as insights from Hennig Lobin about the German Language Institute. Discussions focused on proposals for collaboration, including research in German language teaching methodology and translation studies, publishing articles in indexed scientific journals, creating educational materials for schools and universities, organizing conferences, and exploring other areas of mutual interest.

Additionally, the German delegation conducted a seminar for UzSWLU students, providing valuable knowledge and skills.
