University Stage of the “Best Essays” Contest Held at UzSWLU
On May 17 of this year, the Uzbek State World Languages University (UzSWLU) hosted the university stage of the national “Best Essays” contest, aimed at promoting anti-corruption awareness, strengthening civic values, and enhancing students’ legal knowledge.
Bachelor's degree students from various faculties of the university took part in the contest. Through essay writing, they expressed their views, suggestions, and socio-legal understanding regarding the fight against corruption.
The contest is organized in three stages. Participants who successfully pass the university stage will qualify for the next — regional stage.
Essays were written in sealed 12-page notebooks in Uzbek, Karakalpak, and Russian languages, and were evaluated based on fair grading criteria.
Winners of the national final stage will be awarded the following prizes:
1st place — 6 million UZS, diploma, and statuette
2nd place — 5 million UZS
3rd place — 4 million UZS
In addition, students who actively participated in the contest will receive honorary certificates from the university.
