A Bright Event Held within the Framework of “Khan Atlas” Month

Today, the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages hosted a grand festive event dedicated to preserving and promoting national values.

The event was opened by University Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, who in his speech spoke about the ancient history and present-day significance of the traditional fabrics — khan atlas and adras.

The celebration continued with a rich program:

• National Costume Show — female students took to the stage in modern and traditional outfits made of khan atlas and adras fabrics, demonstrating the harmony of tradition and modernity.

• National Songs — live performances of folk songs added a special charm to the event.

• National Dances — colorful dance ensembles performed to traditional music, sharing a festive spirit with the audience.

• Artistic Performances — students presented theatrical scenes reflecting national customs and traditions, leaving a lasting impression.

Deputy deans for women’s affairs from all faculties actively participated, supporting students’ initiatives.

The event was held in a highly uplifting spirit, allowing the audience to once again feel the richness and beauty of national heritage.
