On October 9, 2025, a meeting was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) with representatives of Clarivate

The delegation included Ms. Lyaziza Mukasheva, Regional Manager for Central Asia for Academic and Government Institutions at Clarivate, and Ms. Diana Abdumuminova, Local Manager for Academic and Government Institutions in Uzbekistan.
From UzSWLU, the meeting was attended by Rector I. Tukhtasinov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation O. Yusupov, Head of the International Cooperation Department Kh. Yuldashev, and Head of the Department for Research, Innovation, and Academic Staff Development K. Muradqosimova.

During the discussion, the parties addressed topics such as publishing articles in journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, integrating UzSWLU researchers’ dissertations and research results into international databases, and enhancing the university’s scientific capacity to improve its global ranking. The participants also exchanged views on other mutually beneficial areas of cooperation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reached agreements to further expand scientific collaboration, increase the participation of Uzbek scholars in international journals, and promote Uzbekistan’s research achievements within the global academic information space.
