KOICA Representatives Visit UzSWLU
On May 27, a delegation from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) paid an official visit to Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU).
During the visit, both sides held a meeting to discuss the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation. Discussions focused on the implementation of KOICA’s volunteer project aimed at improving Korean language and culture teaching, future cooperation areas, and the practical activities of volunteers involved in the project.

The meeting was attended by leading KOICA specialists from the Seoul headquarters and the Tashkent office, including Kang Tegu, Park Inhye, Song Gihun, Park Sohi, Ju Yejung, Park Hewon, So Wansu, Lee Yubin, Rojiboyev Ilhomjon, Saidov Islombek, Park Jun Hyung, No Yunmi, and Shomirzaev Anvar.
From UzSWLU, Rector Ilxomjon Tuxtasinov, Vice-Rectors A. Nasirov and M. Khamraev, Head of the International Cooperation Department Kh. Yuldashev, and Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Philology D. Djuraev took part in the meeting.
At the end of the visit, the guests toured the Faculty of Oriental Philology to observe the lessons and volunteer activities firsthand.
This meeting marked an important step in strengthening effective and long-term cooperation in the field of education between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.
