“Meeting Between the Rector and Students” Continues at UzSWLU

On October 8, the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages hosted the next session within the framework of the “Meeting Between the Rector and Students” initiative.

Rector of UzSWLU, Mr. Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov, held a sincere and friendly conversation with first-year evening students of the Faculty of Russian Philology and the Faculty of Translation Studies.

During the meeting, the Rector provided detailed information about the university’s educational process, international cooperation programs, opportunities for scientific activity, as well as students’ rights and responsibilities. He also encouraged young people to be knowledgeable, inquisitive, proactive, and patriotic.

The meeting was also attended by faculty deans, vice-rectors, and department heads, who responded to students’ questions regarding education, dormitory conditions, internships, and other relevant issues.

The event took place in an open dialogue format, enabling students to adapt more quickly to university life, communicate directly with the administration, and share their suggestions and feedback.
