Representatives of the National Cultural Center of China visited the Uzbek State University of World Languages

On May 16, a delegation led by Mr. Yan Yaoyun, Chairman of the National Cultural Center of China, visited the Uzbek State University of World Languages. Following the visit, a meeting with the guests was held at the university’s rectorate building.

The meeting was attended by University Rector I. Tukhtasinov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work V. Sadiyev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs M. Chutpulatov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Vice-Rector for Financial and Economic Affairs M. Khamraev, Rector’s Advisor on Ensuring Social and Spiritual Stability Among Students O. Zaripov, Head of the International Relations Department Kh. Yuldashev, Dean of the Faculty of Eastern Philology D. Juraev, and Dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology A. Rakhmonov.

The parties discussed priority areas of bilateral cooperation, including attracting Chinese citizens to study at higher education institutions in Uzbekistan, organizing Russian and Uzbek language courses for their education, as well as issues related to distance learning, preparatory courses, and dormitory accommodation.
