Meeting with Indonesia’s UNIKOM University Delegation Held at UzSWLU

On September 18, 2025, Uzbekistan State World Languages University hosted a meeting with a delegation from Indonesia’s University of Computer Technology (UNIKOM). The event was held on the 6th floor of the university’s rectorate building.

The UNIKOM delegation was led by Rector Dr. Eddy Soeryanto Soegoto and included deans of leading faculties, directors of international programs, and editors-in-chief of scientific journals.

Representing UzSWLU were Rector Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation O. Yusupov, and Head of the International Cooperation Department Kh. Yuldashev.

The following topics were discussed during the meeting:

• launching exchange programs for students, teachers, and researchers;

• organizing professional development courses in the field of management;

• using digital platforms in foreign language teaching and management;

• conducting online training and webinars for IT department instructors;

• organizing summer and winter schools for students;

• joint scientific research and publication of academic articles;

• co-supervision of doctoral dissertations;

• joint participation in conferences, seminars, and webinars.

In addition, UNIKOM announced its readiness to host a two-week winter school for 20 UzSWLU students starting from October 17 of this year. The program will fully cover tuition, accommodation, and meals, while students will only be responsible for airfare and visa expenses.

The parties also agreed to further expand cooperation in organizing joint international conferences, publishing in SCOPUS-indexed and other international journals, and strengthening academic supervision partnerships.
