On May 21, Uzbekistan State World Languages University hosted the traditional Republican scientific-practical conference titled “Language and Literature: Unveiling Connections and Expanding Horizons – II.”

The event was opened by the Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, who delivered a sincere congratulatory speech.

 

 

 

In his remarks, Rector Ilhomjon Tukhtasinov emphasized the relevance of the conference, highlighting the unique role of language and literature in shaping cultural identity, national consciousness, and global academic dialogue. He also spoke about the university's achievements in international cooperation, scientific research, and academic mobility.

The conference brought together graduate students, young researchers, professors, and scholars from leading higher education institutions of Uzbekistan. They presented their research in fields such as linguistics, literary studies, translation studies, and more.

It was noted that the university was ranked in the 251–300 range in the QS World University Rankings by Subject for "Linguistics", further enhancing its international reputation.

The growing number of graduate students demonstrating scientific potential, many of whom have been awarded national and international scholarships, was also highlighted.
