Uzbekistan-France Higher Education Forum Kicks Off
On May 19–20, the Uzbekistan National University is hosting a higher education forum titled “Uzbek-French University: Prospects and Development.”
The event is attended by a delegation led by Anne-Marie Descôtes, Secretary General of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, as well as the French Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Aurélia Bouchez. Also participating are heads of prestigious French universities such as Poitiers, Rennes, Lyon-2, and Le Havre-Normandy, along with First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, Shokhrukh Daliyev, rectors and scholars from leading Uzbek universities, and representatives of international organizations and companies.
Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, Rector of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, and Abdurahim Nasirov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, are actively participating in the forum.
The event is aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries in higher education, discussing future joint projects and academic programs, and establishing practical partnerships.
