A meeting with representatives of Vitebsk State University of Belarus was held at UzSWLU.

On February 7, 2024, a meeting was held including as guests the Rector of Vitebsk State University of Belarus V.V. Bogatyryova, first vice-rector A.P. Mekhovich and Head of International Relations Y.Sh. Salakhova.

For information: the Uzbekistan-Belarus interregional forum is taking place these days. Representatives of business circles and various domains, including educational institutions, are participating in the forum.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues like exchange of professors and researchers, cooperation in the scientific field, establishment of joint educational programs in 3+1 and 1+1 formats, development of Russian language teaching in Uzbekistan, including organisation of a center. Both sides expressed their desire to develop relations in the future. V.V. Bogatyryova mentioned that the main purpose of her trip to Uzbekistan was to open a branch of Vitebsk State University in Tashkent.
