The rector received the head of St. Petersburg State University.

On March 28, UzSWLU rector I. Tukhtasinov received the head of the branch of St. Petersburg State University of Russia in Tashkent Siyadullayev Mahmudjon and deputy director Artyom Sergeevich.

The parties discussed the issues of establishing joint educational programs in Russian, English, and Chinese languages, as well as interpretation and specialization. The Russian side announced that it is ready to implement programs in other directions as well.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the establishment of a working group consisting of representatives of both parties in order to solve organizational and financial issues in a short period of time.
